The U.S. Kids Golf World Championship is off to a great start at Mid Pines. It is very clear that their practice has paid off, and they have their eyes on the prize. We love hosting this amazing event here at Mid Pines and seeing all of the young talent flood our buildings. We are also very excited about the filming of documentary number two of 'The Short Game'. The Netflix based film came out in 2013 after following eight of the best kids golfers in the world on their journey to Pinehurst. We are very excited to see the next movie, especially after seeing how talented all of the kids are this year. If you haven't seen "The Short Game" you can purchase it at the Mid Pines Golf Shop $20 and experience the talent for yourself.

Returns to Mid Pines

July 31st-August 2nd

Mid Pines is gearing up for the 15th year of the U.S. Kids World Championship which will be starting next week. Kids ages 12 and under travel to Pinehurst to compete in this prestigious event. Last year the field featured more than 1200 participants from 47 states and 38 countries. We are very excited to be hosting the Championship at Mid Pines and look forward to watching all of the young talent enter our buildings.

National Ice Cream Day

We all scream for ice cream! Come celebrate one of the sweetest days of the year with us- National Ice Cream Day. Our Executive Chef, Peter Hamm has created this delightful and refreshing treat for Sunday.Our special will feature vanilla ice cream, chocolate mousse, and strawberries topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup in a mason jar.

Facebook Contest

"Where in the Sandhills is PKB"

For July we will be holding a month long Facebook Contest. Every Thursday at 9:00am the Pine Needles-Mid Pines Facebook page will post a picture of Flat Peggy (cardboard cut out) somewhere in the Sandhills and we want you to guess where she is. Voting will close at 1:00pm. Everyone who voted correctly will be entered into a drawing for a prize, winners are announced between 5:00-6:00pm every Thursday.
