14th Annual Mid Pines Invitational

The 14th Annual Mid Pines Invitational is coming up February 8-10 and the event is filling up fast.  The format is 36 hole fourball medal play at scratch in both Open & Senior (both players 50+) Divisions. 

The entry fee is $540 per team and includes a practice round, two tournament rounds, welcome gifts, prizes, Cocktail Reception and Awards Lunch.  Preferred room rates are available for competitors of the Invitational.

Mid Pines Restoration

For all the Donald Ross Golf lovers we have big things happening this winter.  Kyle Franz has been retained to oversee an extensive restoration project of the Mid Pines Golf Course.  Our goal is to maintain the character and shot values that Donald Ross imagined when he designed the course 90 years ago, while improving the course condition with the best turf and playing condition possible.

We are open for play and our workers have been doing a great job of making sure our guests enjoy their experience while we finish our project.  The first phase of work will be completed on the golf course by the end of February.  The second phase will be to convert our greens to mni-verde bermuda which will take place this summer.   The golf course will be closed June & July and our resort operation will go on as normal.
